Loft conversion

Planning permission is not always required to carry out both loft conversions and extensions. In many cases loft conversions fall under permitted development rights. However, for this to be the case, your loft conversion must meet certain criteria. In addition, your property must not have already used its Permitted Development rights to add an additional storey.
